The University of the West Indies (The UWI) is committed to accountability and openness. Each year, the five campus Councils convene to review performance for the previous academic year. Campus Principals present reports on operations, financial management, and key activities. These sessions culminate in the University Council meeting, chaired by Chancellor, The Most Hon. Dodridge D. Miller, and at which Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Hilary Beckles delivers a systemwide overview.
As a public university, The UWI ensures transparency by broadcasting these reports live via UWItv. Media representatives and stakeholders are invited to engage directly during the public Q&A sessions.
